Trim Lok edge guard, EGB7/16-250 is a flexible plastic trim that has been pre-glued and is covered in transparent or Mylar. It can install quickly and creates a polished look in car door edges, vending machines, furniture, fender flares and running boards.
Features:
- Trim Lok EGB7/16-250 edge guard features vinyl PVC (polyvinyl chloride) base construction with 97 Shore A Durometer hardness to resist environmental stress.
- It includes Mylar decorative material for a finished appearance.
- This edge guard trim comprises hot melt adhesive for secure installation. It is also available in the butyl adhesive sealant tape option.
- It operates at temperatures ranging from -20 to 150 degrees Fahrenheit.

Q. How to use an edge guard?
A.
- Peel the backing off one door edge guard and start adhering it to the door edge from top to bottom.
- As you go, smooth the guard with your fingertips by pushing it down.

A.
- Warm up the edge trim with a low-heat hair dryer. This softens the adhesive.
- Peel the trim softly away from the door after it becomes warm or nearly hot.
- Once the trim is gone, use a cloth and rubbing alcohol to remove any remaining glue.
