Q. How can we install Speakman FPV-7000 freeze protection valve?

A.

• Shut off the water supply.
• Unfasten the braided flex hose from the half-inch ball valve and the stanchion cross.
• Commune the half-inch close nipple to the half-inch ball valve inlet.
• Attach 1/2 inch x 3/4 inch x 1/2 inch tee to 1/2 inch close nipple and ensure that the tee is aligned so that the 3/4 inch side outlet is in a downward position.
• Connect 1/2 inch street elbow to 1/2 inch x 3/4 inch x 1/2 inch tee and align the 1/2 inch female threaded outlet facing downward.
• Join the FPV to a 3/4 inch side port of 1/2 inch x 3/4 inch x 1/2 inch tee.
• Reconnect the braided hose to 1/2 inch street elbow and 1/2 inch connection on the stanchion cross.
