Plast-O-Matic VBS150VT-PV vacuum breaker prevents collapse or structural damage to enclosed tanks during draining. The innovative self-sealing diaphragm of this PVC vacuum breaker ensures simple design and optimum operational reliability.

- It stops the vacuum which may harm delicate equipment & filters and guarantees a bubble-tight seal due to the patented diaphragm design.
- This normally closed designed unit reduces fugitive emissions exiting the system.
- It has a corrosion-resistant PFA-encapsulated spring that operates on a poppet seal that does not stick or clatter.

Q. How to install the breaker?
A. The normally-closed, unique Plast-O-Matic vacuum breakers can be installed in any orientation. However, upright mounting is advised. The highest point of the tank should be where the mounting is for enclosed tank installations.
Q. What are the important points to consider before installing?
A. Vacuum breakers, when installed and utilised properly within the prescribed limits of pressure, temperature and chemical compatibility, will open to let air into a pipeline or vessel, avoiding syphoning, cavitation or vacuum.
Q. How do you reset a vacuum breaker?
A. Remove the plug from the wall socket and leave the vacuum cleaner unplugged and switched off while allowing it to cool. Wait for the thermal cutoff breaker to reset itself for at least 30 minutes.
