Palmetto VA1389 packing seal or gland seal is engineered to seal a fluid. It is used to contain solvents, gases, water, acids, oil and other chemicals that are subdued to different pressures and temperatures.

- Palmetto VA1389 packing seal secures valves, pumps and other components from fluid leaks in general service and light slurry applications.
- This compression packing seal is calendared and oven-dried to decrease moisture and compress the packing.
- It comes with an inert lubricant to improve packing life by decreasing break-in time and frictional heat.
- It features oriented virgin ePTFE yarn heavily loaded with super-pure graphite powder to soak lubricants, withstand harsh chemicals and disperse heat.
- This compression packing seal operates under a temperature range of -400 to 550 degrees F.
