- Tighten one set screw on a flange up to its torque value and lightly tighten the other to handle axial adjustment.
- Insert the sleeve on one flange and move the equipment together until the sleeve serrations mesh with the other flange. The flange face should just barely touch the sleeve.
- Recheck the alignment upon installation and correct it if required.
- Tighten the set screw on the loosely tightened flange.
