Honeywell MS8120F1200 damper actuator is designed for operating fire & smoke dampers in ventilation and air conditioning systems. This fast-acting actuator can close the damper within 15 seconds, in the event of a fire.

• It has a unique, patent-pending design to eliminate the need for limit switches to reduce power consumption.
• It offers reversible mounting configuration to allow use in either clockwise (CW) or counter-clockwise (CCW) spring rotation.
• The integral spring return delivers a maximum return torque of 175 inch-lb at a temperature of 350 degrees F.

A.

• Place the actuator over the damper shaft and hold the mounting bracket in place.
• Mark screw holes on the damper housing.
• Remove the actuator and mounting bracket.
Drill or centre-punch holes for mounting screws.
• Turn damper blades to normal (closed) position.
• Place the actuator and the mounting bracket back into position and screw the bracket to the damper box with steel metal screws.
• Tighten set screws securely using a 1/4 inch wrench.
