Q. How to install this workbench?

A.

• Remove the cabinet's caster box, handles and bolt kit. Attach the doorknobs. Attach the hole plugs to the end of the push handle.
• To avoid paint scratches, close the doors and place the cabinet on its back on the flattened shipping carton. Install the swivel casters on the same end where you installed the push handle.
• Insert a carriage bolt into a mounting hole and secure the bolt with a push nut. Repeat this for the remaining three mounting bolts.
• Place the caster over the bolts and secure it with whiz nuts. Repeat with the remaining casters.
• To remove a drawer, pull it out until it comes to a halt. Take note of the locking levers located inside the drawer's track. While pressing down on the right lever, lift the left lever. Remove the drawer from the slides.
• When the right and left slides are in place, fully extend them. Push the drawer's back pocket onto the slide's back clip, then lower the front pocket onto the front clip. Completely close the drawer. The mechanism will latch automatically.
• Insert the rear clip into the rear notch and lower the front clip into the front notch on one slide.

A. Do not store fuels, flammables, explosives or hazardous materials, as they can explode. Only use this unit to store and transport electric or hand tools & equipment.

Q. How do you install any lock system in this cabinet?

A.

• Using a 1/2-inch socket or wrench, remove the padlock tab.
• Set the latch rod to the 'LATCHED' position.
• Install the 5/16 x 3/4 inch carriage bolt into the appropriate hole in the padlock tab, insert the padlock shackle and secure to the lockbox with a locking nut.
• Open the cover and slide the latch rod into the 'OPEN' position before locking the padlock.
• Close the cover and set the latch rod to 'LATCHED'. Lock the padlock and try to open the cover by moving the latch rod to the 'OPEN' position.
