A. This Eaton GBK1420 ground bar kit has 14 terminals with lug holes for fitting aluminium or copper wires. Small holes can fit either one 6 to 14 AWG wire or two 10 to 14 AWG wires, whereas large holes can fit one 1/0 to 14 AWG wire or three 10 to 12 AWG wires. When inserting multiple wires inside a single hole, ensure that they have the same size and material construction.
Q. How to install this Eaton GBK1420 ground bar kit?
A.
- Turn off the main power before opening the load center and installing this kit.
- Use mounting holes in the load center to install this ground bar on either its right or left side. Tighten the mounting screws.
- Fix a label marked "Equipment Ground Terminal" in the enclosure adjacent to this installed ground bar.
