Q. How do you adjust a Condor MDR3 Series pressure switch?

    A.
  • Remove the casing of the pressure switch after disconnecting it from the equipment.
  • Turn the yellow disc on top of the thermal overload block to the desired current ratings.
  • The cut-in & cut-out pressure can be set by turning the calibrating screw on the relay clockwise (for increasing) or anti-clockwise (for decreasing).
  • The difference between cut-in & cut-out pressure or differential pressure can be adjusted using the screw next to the calibration screw.
  • Users can also replace old, faulty or worn-out thermal overload blocks, unloader valves & other parts.
  • Now that the pressure switch is set up, put the casing back on and connect it to the desired application.

Q. What is the use of a thermal overload block?

A. The thermal overload block protects the application from damage in case of a short circuit, over-load or overheating. Generally, the thermal overload relay gets activated by sensing heat caused by high current flow.
