Aiphone DB-1MD master station serves as an audio master for the DB series hands-free two-wire door system. This system helps 1 door station with 1, 2 or 4 buttons and up to 5 internal stations per button.

• The DB-1MD master station features a call tone volume control with mute indicator, All Call button, Talk button, receive volume control and Off button.
• It connects via 2 wires to the DA series door stations and allows up to 4 sub-stations to be connected to this master and communication.

Q. How do we use Push-to-Talk (PTT) Mode?

A.

• When the TALK button is pressed and held down for 1 second or longer, another beep tone will sound, indicating that PTT mode is activated.
• While talking, keep the TALK button pressed and to listen to the caller's voice, release the TALK button.
• Push the OFF button to discontinue communication when done talking. Communication will terminate automatically after about a minute if OFF is not hit.

Q. How can we activate the Door Release function?

• Press the Door Release button.
• As long as the Door Release button is pressed, the door release is engaged. While pressing this button, audio will be muffled, when communication is active.
