Granite Master Squares, Pink, Five-Face, Flat Edges
Starrett granite master squares are suitable for accurately measuring the X-Y-Z axes on CNC machine tools and measuring equipment. These units are made of pink granite with five-face configuration for maximum resistance to wear and deflection under load. They are lapped to a fine microinch finish for preventing tool drag and are well suited for inspection and layout applications and for gaging small components along with checking the squareness and parallelism of any machine. These granite master squares are available in AA (Laboratory) and A (Inspection) grades of accuracy, ideal for precision operations in temperature gaging rooms and metrology departments or quality control applications, respectively.
