10053 Series Straight Flute Tap
OSG 10053 Series straight flute taps are designed to create internal threads in pre-drilled hole in materials such as steel, aluminium and other metals. They have a straight flute design that allows efficient chip evacuation, reducing the risk of clogging during the tapping process. These taps have 5 flutes, allowing efficient chip evacuation during tapping operations. They feature powdered metal construction with V coating / finish enhancing the tap's wear resistance and helping to reduce friction during cutting. These taps are available in lengths of 100, 110, 125, 140 and 160 mm.
