Morse drum wrenches are ideal for opening drum plugs & bungs on steel, fibre & plastic drums. They feature a long handle for providing leverage & hand clearance. Selected models have zinc aluminium alloy construction which is spark resistant & non magnetic for use with drums containing flammable fluids. Working Mechanism

  • Before exerting pressure on the handle, carefully trial-fit the wrench to find the face that fits the plug the best.
  • To control the wrench, use two hands. To steady it and maintain appropriate engagement, hold the end of the wrench close to the fitting with one hand. To ensure a tight grip, use the other hand to hold the wrench as close to the free end as you can without pinching the drum rim or any other items.
  • Use a firm enough hand grip to keep the turning under control. Most frequently used drum plugs are rotated counter-clockwise to loosen them and clockwise to tighten them.
