Dial Calipers
Mahr-Federal Inc. dial calipers are designed for measuring inside, outside, depth and step dimensions of objects with a maximum accuracy of 0.001 inches at a 6 inch range. These units come equipped with a fixed blade scale with permanent graduations and an adjustable slider with a dial on top which moves along the blade. They are integrated with a rack and pinion mechanism which rotates the pointer within the dial for providing fractional measurements (in /mm). These calipers also come equipped with a locking bezel for zero adjustments and a rolling thimble for smooth movement on the scale.
