PZ Series, AC Gearmotors, Three Phase, TENV
Leeson PZ Series AC gear motors are designed for three-phase applications and feature a totally enclosed non-ventilated (TENV) enclosure for sealing and protecting the motor from external contaminants. They feature steel housing with black high gloss enamel finish for structural rigidity and resisting oxidation reactions on the exposed surfaces. These gear motors feature double-shielded ball bearings to reduce frictional losses and parallel shaft gearboxes equipped with needle bearings for smooth power transmission. They are further integrated with an inverter rated insulation system (IRIS) for superior protection against voltage spikes induced by variable frequency drives. These AC gear motors are available in torque configurations of 12, 24, 56 and 100 lb-inch.
