Chem 8 Silicon Lubricant
Chem-8 lubricants and thread sealants are used for non-oxygen compatible applications, such as oxidation reactions in vacuum or water systems and autoclaved instruments, as well as in the aerospace and automotive industries. These lubricants are made from silicone and PTFE that acts as a strong and reliable sealant to aid in continuous autoclaving operations and act as an excellent high-vacuum grease for lubrication of seal threads and O-rings. They are designed to provide a waterproof, chemically inert and non-toxic performance and works perfectly up to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
