Working Mechanism

  • Eaton XT IEC Series mini contactors have a coil and opening & closing contacts to control the flow of electrical power.
  • After energising the contactor's coil, a magnetic field is generated to attract the contacts and close the circuit, allowing the flow of electrical current to the load.
  • After de-energising the contactor's coil, the magnetic field is eliminated to release the electrical contacts & break the circuit. This shuts off the electrical current to the load.
