EATON SVX Series Adjustable Frequency Drives, FR7


Eaton SVX Series adjustable frequency drives (AFDs) are used to control the speed of motors in heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. These AFDs can also be used in material handling equipment such as cranes, hoists and conveyor belts to control the motor's speed.

Working Mechanism

  • The bottom cover is removed by unscrewing the screw in the centre of the bottom panel.
  • The control terminals are located under the bottom panel and are exposed after the panel is removed.
  • The power & control cables are then fixed to the inside terminals with the help of the bottom of the frequency drive.
  • The bottom panel is then locked in place after wiring.

  • These adjustable frequency drives feature a front mounted digital control panel with button controls for adjusting the output of the drive.

  • These Eaton adjustable frequency drives come with a top mounted exhaust fan for cooling the frequency drive in enclosed boxes & confined spaces.
