Working Mechanism

  • When the pressure of the fluid entering the valve is higher than the relief valve's fixed pressure, the spool rotates to open the relief valve, enabling the fluid to bypass the valve and return to the reservoir. By doing this, pressure spikes are prevented from damaging system components.
  • As the fluid pressure inside the valve increases, the spring contracts, moving the spool and lowering the fluid flow. As a result, the pressure downstream of the valve is decreased.
  • The check valve operates by using a ball or disc that the fluid pressure forces into a seat.
