Working Mechanism

  • The spool moves to open the relief valve when the pressure of the fluid entering the valve is greater than the relief valve's set pressure, allowing the fluid to bypass the valve and return to the reservoir. By doing this, the system's components are prevented by pressure spikes.
  • The spring contracts as the fluid pressure inside the valve rises, moving the spool and reducing the fluid flow, resulting in a reduced pressure downstream of the valve.
  • The check valve works by using a ball or disc that presses into a seat by the pressure of the fluid.
