EATON CHH Series Bolt On Circuit Breakers
Eaton CHH Series bolt-on circuit breakers are used with 1MP, 1MM and 3MM modular metering stacks. These miniature circuit breakers interrupt current flows in the event of low-level faults to protect devices from electrical damage.

Features
- They have a thermal-magnetic trip mechanism that allows both long-time and instantaneous functions for maximum overcurrent protection.
- They feature bolt-on mounting with line & load side lugs for easy installation.
- They also have a one-piece silver-flashed copper bus that provides superior conductivity, corrosion resistance and durability.
- They further feature an enhanced & easy-to-use interface to allow users to view and make adjustments to the trip settings.
- These three-pole, non-interchangeable trip units offer an interrupting rating of 100kA at 120 / 240VAC.
Standards and Approvals
- UL
Frequently Asked Questions
What is meant by the term instantaneous trip?
Instantaneous tripping indicates that no delay is deliberately introduced in the tripping action of the circuit breaker during short-circuit conditions.
What is an interrupting rating?
It is the highest current at rated voltage available at the incoming terminals of the circuit breaker. The interrupting rating of the circuit breaker must be equal to or greater than the available short-circuit current at which the circuit breaker is applied to the system.
What is the purpose of a trip indicator?
It is a type of module that mounts directly to the circuit breaker trip unit and displays whether the circuit breaker has tripped due to overload, short-circuit or a ground fault condition.
