EATON CH Series High Magnetic Circuit Breakers
Eaton CH Series high magnetic circuit breakers are designed to fit in standard load centres & panel boards and protect against overloads and short circuits. They feature a high magnetic trip element that offers superior protection against high inrush current, with an interrupting capacity o...f up to 10kA. They feature a compact design that allows easy installation and maintenance, making these breakers ideal for applications, such as HVAC, pumps, compressors and other motor loads. These breakers can also be used with a wide range of accessories, including shunt trips, auxiliary contacts and undervoltage releases.Read more

Working Mechanism
- When the current flowing through the circuit breaker exceeds the maximum allowable value, the magnetic element generates a magnetic field, causing the breaker to trip (or open the circuit).
- This phenomenon interrupts the flow of current and prevents damage to the electric system.
- Additionally, they have a bi-metallic strip which responds to the heat generated by the current flowing through the breaker.
- This element can also trip the breaker if the current exceeds the rated value, protecting against overload.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the use of a manual trip?
The CH Series circuit breakers come with a manual trip that allows the operator to manually open the circuit in case of emergency or power failure.
What is the purpose of a loadcentre?
A loadcentre is a distribution panel that houses and manages the distribution of electrical power in a building or other facilities. It includes a main breaker that acts as the primary protection for the entire electrical system, as well as several individual circuit breakers that protect the system from potential damage from short circuits or overload occurrences.
How can I reset a tripped circuit breaker?
- For resetting manually, locate the breaker panel and then the breaker that has tripped.
- Switch the breaker to the OFF position, then back to the ON position.
- The user can use a toggle provided on the breaker to reset the tripped unit.
