General Purpose Motors, ODP Enclosure, 3/4 HP Power Output

Dayton general purpose motors are used with compressors, fans, conveyors, pumps, material handling and machine tools. These motors have steel construction with 3-phase motor design to operate with higher torque and greater efficiency, as compared to single-phase models having the same power outputs (hp), speeds (rpm) and frame sizes. They also feature open drip-proof (ODP) enclosures that have ventilated openings to allow inflow of external cooling air. These units are further integrated with ball bearings for smooth operation and can be mounted in horizontal position. Choose from a wide range of these general purpose AC motors, available in 56C and 56HC frame options.
