Dayton whole house fans are mounted on the ceiling to draw out hot & humid air and deliver cool air to ventilate spaces in commercial and industrial applications. They have powder-coated steel / galvanised steel construction with 3 / 4 steel bladed propellers for corrosion resistance and durability. They feature either belt-driven motors that offer greater flexibility in terms of rpm speeds as the motor is not directly in contact with the fan's moving parts or direct-driven motors that are directly connected to the fan through shafts or axles for increasing energy efficiency. Choose from a wide range of these fans, available in blade diameters of 30 and 36 inches.

The electrically reversible, 3 speed whole house fans feature a Storm Guard shield that allows the closure of windows, an integrated safety plug to operate and extender side panels to fit windows perfectly. Dayton 2-speed belt drive whole house fans are thermally protected and are equipped with internal gaskets to reduce noise. They have automatic belt tensioning systems to eliminate belt adjustments manually.
