Tjernlund radon exhaust fans are used when there is a drain tile located 4 to 6 inches under a concrete slab (this avoids cracks or openings in the slab). They are also used to activate a passive radon reduction system. Raptor Supplies offers a wide range of corrosion-proof radon vent fans featuring sealed, heavy duty galvanised steel housing, a backward inclined steel impeller and a PSC permanently lubricated motor. An isolating rubber mounting bracket eliminates vibration transfer and facilitates 360 degree rotation.
