Working Mechanism
- Mounting: Solidly fix the pipe and place the cutter on it by turning the feed handle counterclockwise, such that the rollers on the cutter come in contact with the pipe. Clockwise turn the screw handle again so that the cutter wheel comes in contact with the pipe. The rollers on the cutter steadies the cutter on the pipe, whereas the cutter wheel contacts the pipe itself.
- True Tracking: After the cutter wheel contacts the pipe, turn the feed screw quarter of a turn to engage the cutter wheel. Rotate the cutter 360 degrees to make a light groove on the wheel.
- Cutting: After true tracking on the pipe, tighten the feed screw again up to a quarter of a turn. Rotate the cutter progressively around the pipe after screw tightening at each turn to cut the pipe.
