Manhole Smoke Blowers

Manhole smoke blowers from Cherne are designed for use with traditional smoke bombs or liquid smoke. These blowers are used for smoke testing of sewer lines in order to detect sources of inflow and infiltration and also for fast ventilation in closed areas. They can also be used to detect unwanted leaks and inflows from drain tiles, cellar drains, leaking manholes, sump pumps, broken laterals, abandoned or unconnected sewer lines and storm sewer lines. These blowers are made from lightweight cast-aluminium and feature a heavy-duty Briggs & Stratton engine and a 1/2 inch foam cell gasket to minimise vibrations. While traditional Cherne smoke blowers come equipped with a smoke bomb box holder, liquid smoke blowers, on the other hand, feature a pressurised tank and a hose.
