Omron heavy-duty limit switches are used to monitor the travel limits of a certain device by activating or deactivating the power supply to machinery. These switches feature well-engineered construction to withstand shocks and vibrations, as well as allow the proper functioning of electrical equipment in a wide range of temperatures. They are designed in accordance with UL and NEMA 3, 4, 4X, 6P, 12, 13 rated standards for use in hazardous locations. The double seal and the complete gasket cover on the head of these switches prevent the ingress of contaminants.
