Floor Sanders are designed to remove the top surface of timber, cork, particleboard and parquet floor surfaces using any abrasive. Raptor Supplies offers a wide variety of drum, edger and orbital floor sanders for applications in basements, patio floors, and ship and barge decks. These floor sanders run on a high-performance motor which delivers a maximum speed of 13500 rpm, and produces sound levels up to 100 decibels at 1 meter. Drum floor sanders feature a unique drum rubber which can resist abrasion and damage caused by exposed nails, and a reversible drop-forged clamp bar that securely holds the abrasive paper in position. These single- / multi-speed sanders come equipped with disposable cloth or paper dust bags and a high-powered vacuum system. For light- to medium-duty refinishing and recoating jobs on exterior decks, the abrasive pads of these orbital sanders have a unique core foam layer that prevents the pads from going flat.
