How to install these drop-in anchors?

• Drill an appropriately sized hole in the concrete base material using a hammer drill up to a minimum depth of anchor's length.
• Clean the concrete dust inside the hole properly for proper fastening.
• Drop the anchor into the hole in the slotted end first and open the end up setting.
• After inserting the setting tool into the anchor, strike the tool with a hammer till the setting tool's lip meets the top of the anchor.
• Set the fixture over the flush installed anchor and insert a threaded rod or machine-threaded bolt through the fixture and into it. Use a washer under the rod / bolt head if required.
• Tighten the fastener for securing the fixture.
• These drop-in anchors transfer the forces to the base material. Users should maintain minimum anchor spacing & minimum edge distances while installing multiple anchors. Installing the anchors too close together can cause forces to interact with each other, thereby reducing their holding power.

Can users remove the attached fixtures once installed in the drop-in anchors?

Yes, the attached fixtures can be removed easily after installation by simply unscrewing the threaded rod or bolt from it. However, the drop-in anchor remains inside the concrete for use in future operations.

How to determine the size of the fastener to be used with these drop-in anchors?

• The size of the threaded rod or bolt is the same as the size of the drop-in anchor selected.
• The minimum bolt length needed can be determined by adding the anchor's thread length with fastened material's thickness and a washer's thickness (optional).
