Swaged Cartridge Heater, 120 Volt, 10" Leads
Vulcan swaged cartridge heaters are used for providing concentrated heat into drilled holes of dies, platens and metal blocks. These units have a compact design offered both in high and low watt densities (19 - 172 W / sq.in.) to accomplish the intended application. They feature a 304 stainless-steel sheath for excellent thermal conductivity and resisting oxidation reactions & scaling, and an end disc for positive sealing against ingress of moisture & contaminants. These units are integrated with a nickel-chrome resistance wire, wounded around a precision ceramic core, for a proper seating inside the sheath which is further filled with pure magnesium oxide powder.
