WKM DynaCentric high-performance butterfly valves are low-cost and lightweight valves used in high-pressure applications involving water, oil, steam, gas and slurry. These butterfly valves offer maintenance-free performance and come in flangeless wafer and threaded lug styles. They have a heavy-duty disc design capable of withstanding high stress and their wide disc edge provides greater sealing area. WKM valves have an internal stop that prevents seat damage caused by disc over-travel and also ensures proper disc alignment in the closed position. They have a deep stuffing box design with stainless steel fasteners and are available with TFE Chevron or high-temperature compression packing for long life and positive stem seal. The lower stem disc springs of these butterfly valves support thermal expansion and provide constant grounding.
