BFA Series Bulkhead Fitting
Hayward BFA Series bulkhead fittings are designed for creating a secure and watertight connection through walls, tanks or other barriers. Firstly, it should be hand tight and turned quarterly for snugging up the retaining nut. Over-tightening the bulkhead can also damage either the tank or bulkhead.
How do you measure bulkhead fittings?
Measure the outer diameter of the PVC pipe that will go into the bulkhead and take the bulkhead off to measure the hole in the glass. Once you measure the OD of the pipe, you will require a reference pipe chart for determining the nominal pipe size.
