They feature rugged construction for prolonged life and are ideal for restaurant, laboratory exhaust and industrial ventilation systems. These centrifugal fans from Dayton come with non-overloading properties to prevent phase failure & mechanical jamming, thereby providing cost effective & efficient performance. They are available in single phase, split phase, capacitor start or three phase motor types for transmission of efficient power with a torque speed of up to 20 hp.

Fans having a belt drive design offer superior flexibility & decreased noise while offering control over rpm speeds as the motor is not directly in contact with the fan's moving parts. How do backward inclined fans operate?

A positive pressure generates on the front side of the blade that pushes the air outwards and a negative pressure generates on the reverse side of the blade that draws air into the space. The front side of the following blade picks this air up and pushes it outwards.
