- Some models, including Wilkerson B Dial air regulators feature a pressure-calibrated, transparent, non-rising adjustment dial for quick secondary pressure adjustment and have a balanced valve design for consistent flow output.
- The regulators deliver a maximum airflow rate of 1200 cfm and are supplied for up to 2-inch NPT pipe sizes.
Working Mechanism
- Airflow regulators have a spring-actuated valve which is directly regulated by a diaphragm assembly.
- Pressure or energy from the flowing medium activates the diaphragm.
- The increasing downstream pressure falls on the diaphragm, thereby closing the valve plug by compressing the spring.
