These can recyclers feature a combination filter comprising a two-piece coalescing filter / carbon cartridge to trap odour and potentially harmful VOCs that are released by punctured aerosol cans. The coalescing cartridge converts residual liquids into droplets that get accumulated in the cartridge reservoir, while the top activated carbon filter cartridge indicates saturation and serves as a replacement reminder. Working Mechanism
- Aerosol can recycler systems feature can crushers (also sold separately) that employ a locked and sealed chamber for safely puncturing, crushing, evacuating and draining aerosol cans.
