Norton Abrasives non reinforced cut off wheels are used on grey iron, stainless steel, aluminium and ferrous metals or fixed based machines. They feature zirconia alumina, zirconia aluminium oxide or aluminium oxide construction for high bending & impact strength and come in Type 1 wheel categories to provide increased cutting surfaces & reduction in interference with the workpieces. These wheels are configured with arbor holes at their center to keep the saw teeth from moving and deliver speeds up to 7640 rpm. Choose from a wide range of these wheels, available in 54 and 60 grits.

Norton Abrasives all purpose cut off wheels provide fast cuts on foundry cut-off applications including stainless steels, hard & soft carbon steels, titanium, tool steels, ductiles, gray irons, superalloys & casts. They feature aluminium oxide or zirconia alumina construction for exceptional cut rates and have high performance resin bonds & reinforcements to withstand high pressures & aggressive demanding applications. These wheels offer improved abrasive durability, resistance to heat & side pressures and come with Type 1 cut-off quality providing increased cutting surfaces & minimum interference with the workpieces. The optimal bond hardness in selected models bring excellent blends of cut rates & life and are available in abrasive grits of 20, 24 & 100.

Norton grinding wheels are used for tool shaping and sharpening, stock removal and surface grinding applications in metal fabrication, manufacturing and construction industries. These grinding wheels can also be used with bench, pedestal and precision grinders. Norton wheels have abrasive grains held together by a vitrified bond which offers a high ratio of material removal to wheel use. For multiple grinding applications, these wheels come in fine, medium, coarse, and extra coarse-grained variants with aluminium oxide, silicon carbide or ceramic alumina as the abrasive material. Norton abrasive grinding wheels are also offered in different wheel diameters, arbor and grit sizes, thicknesses and rotational speeds (1625 - 4965 rpm).
