The brand's PLC Series countersinks are designed for making a conical hole in an object, such as countersinking a bolt or screw to sit flush with or below the surface. They use positive rake inserts for smooth cutting without chatter and eliminate the need for tool resharpening. Selected models come with a coolant-fed mechanism to cool the tool and workpiece while aiding chip evacuation.
